Goyko offers an alternative trek to the traditional Everest Base Camp trek. From Goyko Ri the views of Mount Everest are better than the more traditional viewing spot of Kala Pattar. The mountains are definitely spectacular, the Ngozumpa Glacier is very special and the largest inNepal, from a ridge above Gokyo four 8000-meter peaks (Cho Oyu, Everest, Lhotse, and Makalu) are visible. The view of the tremendous ice ridge between Cho Oyu and Gyachung Kang (7922m) is one of the most dramatic panoramas in the world.

Day 01: Arrival
in Kathmandu/ transfer to hotel
Day 02: Flight
Kathmandu to Lukla 2840m. trek to Phakding 2610m. 3- 4h.
Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazar 3440m 5-7h.
Day 4, acclimatize day and visit view point 3450m.
early in the morning then back for breakfast then hike up to
Everest view hotel 3800m, khunjung 3780m, khunde 3840m, and
overnight in namche bazaar 5-7h.
Day 05: Trek to Dole 4110m. 5-6h.
Day 06: Trek to Machhermo 4470m. 3-4h.
Day 07: Trek to Gokyo 4790m. 5-7h.
Day 08: early in the morning walk up to Gokyo Ri 5357m. for
panoramic mountain view around you,
best gokyo lake view and back to Gokyo 5-7h.
Day 09: Trek back to Dole 4110m. 5-6h.
Day 10; Trek to Namche Bazar 3440m 6-7h.
Day 11: Trek to Lukla 2840m 6-9h.
Day 12: fly back to Kathmandu and bhaktapur durbar esquire
